Dental Procedures
Preventive:
Routine cleanings and exams are a vital part of keeping your mouth healthy, almost as important as the care you provide at home with daily brushing and flossing. Avoid major problems by diagnosing them early while they are still minor.
Restoration of Damaged Teeth:
If
there is a need to repair your teeth because of decay or chipped teeth,
we can repair them with amalgam or tooth colored fillings (composites).
Teeth more extensively damaged can usually be remade with tooth colored
crowns.
Replacement of Missing Teeth:
Missing teeth can be replaced with artificial teeth which are:
- permanently fixed in place (bridges)
- removable (dentures)
- surgically placed (implants).
Cosmetic Redesigns of Your Smile:
Cosmetic improvement of your smile can be done by choosing different materials to restore your teeth and/or by reshaping your teeth. Ask for a free consultation of a complete smile design that considers your wishes and expectations. Frequently considered options:
- Fillings –we can use tooth colored material (composite or porcelain inlays).
- Crowns - it is possible to use a gold interior for a richer color, or make the crown of all porcelain for the ultimate “natural” appearance.
- Veneers – porcelain facings can improve discolored, crooked, or chipped teeth
Periodontics
Is the specialty of treating gums. Gum disease causes no pain so it is difficult to notice on your own. One sign is gums which bleed when you brush them. Untreated gum disease can lead to tooth loss and bad breath.
Periodontics can also improve your appearance by recontouring your gums to better frame your teeth.
Endodontics (Root Canals)
This procedure removes the infected pulp and enables you to keep your teeth and be free of pain.
Whitening (Bleaching)
We have prescription strength products which you can easily use at home to whiten your teeth.
